Autumn Equinox Vest is Done!

I finished sewing in the zipper last night. I was going to use my machine, but I thought I would have more control if I hand sewed it in. I'm still debating whether or not to add some sort of tape or binding to hide those hand stitches. I love this vest! It's cozy and adds just the right amount of extra warmth. The pattern was easy to follow and I made no modifications to it. I'll get a lot of wear out of this garment this winter.

It's Almost Done!

I finished knitting the armhole and neckline edging tonight. Now I just have to weave in all the ends and decide on what color zipper I want. I'm leaning towards red.

Progress

I made a lot of progress on the vest while I was on the train to and from Seattle last week. I had a good three and half hours each way to work on this project. I'm almost ready to start the armholes.

Autumn Equinox Vest

I got this yarn in the mail yesterday to start the Autumn Equinox Vest pattern from Purl Soho. I love vests and this project will be the perfect addition to my fall wardrobe!
