I was watching the Blazers vs. Grizzlies game on cable last night and was glad to catch the halftime gig where they were retired Clyde Drexler's jersey, number 22. I must admit I was genuinely touched by the proceedings. I got teary and felt as overwhelmed as Clyde as I heard the crowd's cheers. Clyde is the epitome of a professional athlete: classy, respectful, hard-working, and grateful. He is an amazing person. There have been rumors that he could come back to town and work for Blazers management. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
